Biodiversity is in crisis. Animals and the wild spaces they need to survive are disappearing at a truly astonishing rate. Most scientists believe we are now in the midst of a sixth mass extinction – the most profound since the dinosaurs disappeared over 65 million years ago.
Kids today point to this crisis as their number one environmental concern. They don’t like what’s happening to animals and want to do something about it. Earth Rangers recognizes this and has launched a new program to make a real impact on this issue that is so important to them.
Bring Back the Wild™ (BBtW) is an education and fundraising program, in collaboration with the Nature Conservancy of Canada to help protect wild animals and their habitats.
The goal is simple yet critical: To educate and inspire students about biodiversity loss in an engaging and interactive format and provide tools to help them protect animals at risk of extinction across Canada.
An inspiring eco-presentation featuring our live animal ambassadors, environmental educators, and videos featuring awe-inspiring animals and their habitats from around the globe
Curriculum-linked class activities and teaching resourcesA take action initiative enabling students to choose an animal and habitat they want to help protect.

When you register your school for this exciting program, you’ll receive a special Earth Rangers eco-presentation at your school. Our dedicated team of environmental educators will use the power of live animals in an assembly setting to connect children to the devastating effects of habitat degradation and loss on wild animals. They will also provide knowledge and tools to take action and help protect animals at risk right here in Canada.
Once you’re registered, our Campaign Ambassador will contact you to set a date and provide all the support you need to bring BBtW to life in your school.
