Earth Rangers connects with kids at community events, the Royal Ontario Museum, in schools, online and across the country through our national tour. All of these forums provide new opportunities to discuss the crisis of biodiversity loss and empower young people and their families to take action. We regularly receive letters, emails, Tweets and Facebook posts from our audiences, and it is from these communications that we have developed the Super Rangers. This section of the EarthRangers.com Wild Wire blog highlights kids that have heard our call to Take Action and have worked hard to raise awareness and support for conservation projects. These stories serve as an inspiration for people of all ages, noting what a passion for environmental protection and a little hard work can really do.
We first met this group last summer when they started a Bring Back the Wild™ campaign for the Grizzly bear. A year later they were at it again, this time raising support for the Jefferson Salamander.
Meet a young boy whose passion for animal protection has lead to him reaching Global Guardian status. Follow along as he gets his friends, family and even a few local store owners involved in protecting the Spotted turtle.
The Spotted Turtle Project is generously supported by Ontario Power Generation.
