Earlier this year, Earth Rangers and Call2Recycle ran a special Battery Blitz Contest for our members in Manitoba. Their challenge was to collect as many dead batteries as possible, and recycle them properly so that they don’t end up in landfills where they add to solid waste and potentially release harmful materials into the environment.

Our members stepped up to the challenge and showed us what a big difference an Earth Ranger can make when they set their mind to it! Congratulations to our three winners, who collected a total of 64.41kg of batteries!

3rd Place: Ranger Caleb with 6.35kg
